“Mortified Live: Best of 2018!” What do you call a show that collects the most mortifying moments from high school journals, then collects the best of those for a year-end callback? (A yearbook, of course, but that question was rhetorical.) “Mortified” will present a selection of its best area performers and their stories from this year at its “Best of 2018!” show this month — part of the national wave of comedic storytelling shows in general, and the ascendance of “Mortified” in particular, being a popular stage fixture in more than 20 cities around the globe. Revealing diary entries, poems, love letters, artwork and songs from adolescence will be bared on stage at this event, the lineup of which features Lee Ann Weller, Jason Brown, Tyrel Hartman, Nate Brown and Rachel Weeks. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Denver Food Rescue, according to organizers.
